Online mixing Send me your tracks, I mix in Rezé, near Nantes (France), and we work together remotely
Recorded at home, in a rehearsal room or in another studio, and looking for someone to mix your songs? I have been a music producer and sound engineer since 2003, and I mix at my place in Rezé, near Nantes, France. Everything happens online: you send me your tracks, I send you the mix, and we fine-tune it together based on your feedback.
How it works
- Tell me about your project: number of songs, style, records whose sound you like. Attach a demo or rough mix if you have one.
- Send me your tracks with a file transfer service (WeTransfer, Google Drive, Dropbox…).
- I mix and send you a first version to listen to.
- We fine-tune: you give me your feedback, I revise the mix.
- I deliver the final mix as a WAV file, ready for mastering, plus stems if you need them.
Preparing your tracks
- Either a Pro Tools session, a Cubase session, or WAV (or AIFF) files / stems, mono or stereo depending on the source.
- All files start at the same point (start of the song or session) so they stay in sync.
- The session's sample rate and bit depth (for example 48 kHz / 24-bit), with no conversion.
- Nothing on the master bus: no compressor, no limiter.
- If an effect is part of the sound (a distortion, a special delay), the track both with and without it.
- Clear track names, the tempo, and your rough mix as a reference.
Mixing credits
For Wax Tailor, I mixed the vocals on the albums Fishing for accidents (Jennifer Charles, Victoria Bigelow, Mick Jenkins) and The Shadow of their Suns (Mark Lanegan, D Smoke). I have also mixed records by Treaks, No More Winters, Mayerling and Marta dell'Anno, among others: French chanson, rock, folk, electronic music and hip-hop.
Tools
I mix in Cubase Pro, with a large collection of plugins including UAD, Soundtoys, Waves and more.
